Ozzy said the same thing about Brownout's version. I think Brownout's version blows this out of the water. I know everyone has their own taste and opinion. My opinion is that this is a little disappointing and kind of weird. I kind of can't believe this is Ozzy-approved. If you haven't heard of Brownout and love Black Sabbath, you should check them out. I think all they do is cover Sabbath. "Snowblind" is PHENOMENAL. I almost like it better than the original.

Such a perfect fit & so unexpected, but as someone before me pointed out in the above comments, in retrospect, it seems obvious that in Ozzy's original vocal line, there was potential for a Gospel singer's embellishments. However, as far as I know, no one thought of it until T-Pain. The entire band made this arrangement perfect, but of course, it is the vocals that made it so amazing. As a Black Sabbath fan from my days in high school back in the 1980's, I salute you, sir. I appreciate the art of music and not everyone can put the art and feelings into there music especially doing covers. Most people try to hard or don’t try enough because it’s already a good song so they think there’s is going to be to. So they try to match the original as much as possible and even if it sounds decent I don’t like most peoples covers because they don’t put their own personality, heart, and emotions/ feelings in when doing the cover. So I really love when I do hear a cover of a song when the person put them into it even if the person doesn’t have a great or even good singer voice. As long as people can tell they are passionate about what they are singing, putting the right amount of emotion in and in the right spots people will not care how the voice sound. And I think this cover is amazing the voice sound amazing and it is just perfect for this song. This is probably one of my favorite covers. It definitely goes in my top 5 favorite covers.
