海岸沿いに新たにできた鉄道では、メンテナンス部門が充実しており、各地からトラブルを抱えた踏切が配管を通じて送られてきました。配管は地中を通じて、各地とつながっていました。ある踏切は、高熱を出して動けなくなってしまっていたり、ある踏切は、骨折をしていたり・・・それらの踏切の処置をするのは、ドクターイエローと呼ばれる黄色の電車だったり、救急車であったりでした。
