Similar incident had happened with me too. Ola doesn't refresh pick up address, and that's why I booked auto with some other pick up address. Auto reached and called me, then I realised that address is different. And then I apologized and cancelled the booking. He then called me back and asked me for 50rs, I told him whatever cancellation charge ola has applied I will transfer immediately. But he insisted me to pay 50 rs immediately. After refusal he started abusing me on call, I disconnected the call and blocked his number. I was literally shivering after that for so long. Thank god it had happened over call. I don't know what's going wrong with Bangalore. It used to be such a calm and quiet city.

A similar incident happened to me in Coimbatore in Sep 2022. On completion of the outstation ride, the driver was seeking cash for the same but I couldn't pay him in cash as the amount had already been deducted from my Ola Postpaid. The cab driver then snatched my phone and threw it on the ground due to which the screen of my iPhone got completely cracked. The entire incident was recorded in the cctv of the hotel at which I stayed. I complained to ola and asked for the compensation of my phone screen. As per Ola they suspended the driver, while the compensation dispute is still unresolved. So I kept their postpaid payment on hold till the time they don't compensate me for my losses.

It is Ola company's policy mistake if they don't charge cancellation fees and give it back to the driver. Auto driver is voluntarily associated with Ola, so he should get his anger out on the company and not a young girl. I m living in bangalore, these things are very common in blr. Same situation have arised with me multiple times, I simply used to say sorry and walk out. Hats off to the girls who tried to defend her point. This is mostly because she is speaking in hindi, he understood she cant do anything as she is not local, if she would have complained in police station also no one will be going to listen to hindi speaking and north-indian personals. I faced the same issue with north karnataka Ola driver. We called to Ola and complained they block him and he came home to fight wirh us and literally got screwed by the local AUTO Supporters to our family. I DONT know whose mistake here. However drivers pls respect other state people
