I found these guys a few years back while I was going through a really tough time. I was in Afghanistan, my best friend had just been killed. I was ready to bow my head in defeat. Being a heathen lost in a world where very few understand our even know about you can take its toll. When I found these guys, it was like life had just been pumped into an empty shell and I regained my will to continue the fight. Being a long time heathen I was more than happy to find them, now, they're almost all I listen to! So hail my friends, and hold your hammer high!

Anybody seem to notice that Heathen religions have always lived in peace and tolerated each other? (Most Pagans can accept Hindus and vice versa for an example) but as soon as a Abrahamic religions turn up, a war is soon to follow...
@ElectTheDeadBelgium9 жыл бұрын
***** I think the terms 'Heathen' & 'Pagan' are far too vague to make such a claim. The same goes for generalizing all the Abrahamic religions.

@benweissman24729 жыл бұрын
+Alerta! Alerta! Antifascista! Judaism is not exactly a widespread religion. I identify as a pagan (most Jews don't) and we have been worshiping the old gods err... God for 4 thousand years
@brofist19599 жыл бұрын
+No Good Story Ever Starts With Drinking Tea That's bullshit and it's very easy to prove. Rome conquered pretty much all of Europe and outright killed anybody who refused to worship the Pagan gods. You could also worship yours, but you had to worship theirs or you were executed. The Native Americans scalped colonists for daring to try to live somewhat near them. The Mongols conquered all of Asia and half of Europe. No, heathen religions were just as intolerant as Abrahamic religions, and don't make the mistake of forgetting almost all of human history. Abrahamic religions are relatively recent and only recently have become widespread. People were killing each other for their religions well before Abrahamic religions were even a thing that they could have possibly been aware about.
@carlsolway13379 жыл бұрын
+Bro Fist The Romans actually had a Pantheon, like the Greeks, very different from heathen belief systems. In fact the Roman Empire was one of the largest contributors to the spread of Christianity (the late empire, anyways). The Native Americans scalped everybody (even other Native Americans), but they weren't really "pagans" in the traditional sense of the word. The Native American tribes that did most of the scalping were also largely nomadic, whereas the Heathens of Northern Europe were not (to my knowledge). Its also worth noting that the reason that the Native Americans scalped settlers not because they were trying to live somewhat near them, but because they were trying to spread across the continent and take their land (under the pretense of manifest destiny, a concept attributed to an Abrahamic religion). Lastly, the Mongols weren't really heathens, and they actually weren't really that bloodthirsty. By and large, they let captured peoples keep their system of government and gods, and only required them to pay tribute. In fact, I think Asia was actually the safest its ever been under the Mongolian empire..... So no, its not bullshit. Abrahamic religions seem to have a tendency to cause wars, suffering, and intolerance at a disproportionately higher rate than any other belief system.

Just because you like to stuff yourselves in some category does not mean you appreciate the music anymore than someone else. Get over yourselves... Get over these stereotypes.. Get over the differences... WE are all here on Earth... WE can all feel.. WE all have purpose... WE all have beliefs... WE are all as important as each other!

Rum Runner yep, hey how much do you lift in gym, even though its not my buisness.
@u-87439 жыл бұрын
Paruyr Arabadjyan No problem asking. I've been going for about almost 5 years but only about 2 of those were serious lifting. I usually do a 3 day split, training 6 days a week plus some cardio. I don't think my lifting numbers are very good but I can at least say that in my gym of about 200 members, 50 or so regulars, I am in the top 10%. Do you lift?
