Wow, I am sure Mesfin read the book better than you. I use to listen his short stories on Ethiopian Radio stations every sunday afternoon during the Dergu time. I read his " Achachir yebuna bet teretoch" . Yiheninim eyasmezegebku new and Mamu bichu.

I am sure he did. I remember listening to Jarso Motbaynor's 'የአዲሳባ ልጆች' 20+ years ago on Ethiopian Radio's የመጻህፍት አለም and I remember how I loved it and how emotional the narration made me. I narrated it (it's on this channel) and I have to say, I was disappointed in myself because I couldn't find that feeling the old narration gave me from my own. እያስመዘገብኩ ነው and ማሞ ቢጩ are by Awgchew Terefe though. Thank you for listening.

@@tirekatube I know. It has been more than 40 years. I left ethiopia in 1977 Ethiopian calendar. Reading was fun then. I was addicted for reading. Reading was my hobby. When I was ethiopia, I read all Baalu ghirmas, Abie Gubegna, birhanu zerihun, Hadis Alemayehu, and some author who I forgot their name and Mesfin, i even still like to read here in america. I read Tesfaye ghebre ab, and lately Mamo Afeta. Is that true nobody like to read books like before?
