Go Turkey don’t give up ure ladies are so close! 🙌💪 Watching Turkey team is never boring or disappointing cause they really give all out with so much passion even when they didn’t win. Volleyball is such an enjoyable sport to watch whenever Turkey team is playing. One of their best game was Turkey vs Poland Euro Qualification Tokyo Olympic (2020), like wow the intensity of the players, the quality that they played, they didn’t give up on that ball and any points they can get. They left such an impact of the game making volleyball exciting than just hitting balls or which team wins. They left people watching like: Did you saw how they hit what happened etc etc than just oh this team win that team lost.

Absolutely GREAT game~!!! The US looked very nervous at times. And oddly, their number of errors were higher than usual. Turkey did a nice job of focusing today. There were no losers, just winners!!! I think Turkey could have won if they had a healthy, lively Simge. She makes a serious difference, but this season she has had issues. Well done, US and Turkey!!!!!

Totally agree. I think Aylin Sarıoğlu is so much better than Ayça. So in the back row Saliha&Aylin would do much better for team Turkey than Ayça&Meliha duo. Turkey had a shaky start but it's good to see them playing up to their potential. Last and but not least Zehra was incredible and a total nightmare for Team USA. I believe they will do so much better in their home Ankara.

Currently yeah! Prettiest and one of the best! I think Carol from Brazil is slightly faster and gives her and edge. However, I think Thaisa Menezes is probably the best in modern games as she was very versatile. She had a very very good serve, was a pretty great setter becoming second setter in some games, and she was even attacking from the pipe. Very impressive! Haven't seen other MB cover as many positions. Zerah is probably the most beautiful MB, though!

There was a contest on every suspecious mistake of a referee so that's why they rewinded every angle if there was a fault or block touch or out of bounce. Let's wait for their rematch. I think coach Karch may use 3 original attackers. As per every games he's just using 2 original spikers of his line up for experimental purposes.

im a big fan of meryem's but ebrar is playing good. this was a good match for her. the only negative thing i can say is meryem can bring the energy needed to the team, ebrar isnt that cool-headed yet and gets affected by her mistakes way too easily and shows her emotions more. meryem's experience comes in handy but ebrar is the more obvious choice for 4/5 of the games. and i think she is also pressured by the fact that vargas is probably going to replace her...

I saw that guidetti was very observant in seeing one of Turkey's weaknesses in defense...Aylin, who usually plays as a libero, was played as the main team, while Aiyca remained a libero...And this proved to be very effective...turkey against USA with all the core teams..even though they lost..but USA was very overwhelmed against Turkey...

I think Turkey needs a few more years. They are a young team (except Erdem), so they don't know what they do or how they play at the stressed moments. From 24-21 to 25-27... That's because of inexperience

actually they are not that young anymore, we’ve been playing with this roster for like 4-5 years. every player had the experience they needed to have. they have to be more calm, handle their stress and professional at the situations like this. turkey is always bringing the match to the 5th set but not being able to win.

@ruyno w i’m also so excited for vargas and akyol as well. akyol is going to be good back up for eda. eda needs to rest. but it will take more than we thought for yasemin to recover. she literally experienced the worst injury for a middle blocker. in this kind of injurys, especially if you need your legs to be fast to catch up with the game, you kind of have to learn everything all over again, she have to start from the bottom.

it’s impossible not to be amazed about how huge the pool of players in usa. they are somehow always managing to stay at the top and bring out successful players. they are always open to new improvements and there is always a chance for them to replace one player with the better or similar one. that’s the main thing that i admire about usa volleyball.

@@bigboy7159 well not everything is about how big is your country. turkey also has 80 million people but we are somehow never finding the potentials and help them to improve. it’s about the system you built for years. we stuck with our main roster for like 4 years. it’s definitely something more than being a crowded country.

@@bigboy7159 it’s also very popular in turkey but college league is making it sustainable for usa. which is amazing opportunity to discover new potentials. once you get the attention, you can make it to the italy, poland or turkey to play. they are leaving from their comfort zones which is the most important thing for players to get better. turkish players are choosing sitting on the bench for all the season instead of playing abroad.

@@yalinselen their college leagues could give a run for our money. i also agree that turkish players rarely get out of their comfort zone to gain experience somewhere other than our league. some cant even get that in the league bc they are bench players. i congratulate all who made that decision for themselves like tuğba and ebrar. or even the ones who chose to play as starter players in smaller teams instead of cheerlading the starters in vakıfbank, eczacıbaşı or fenerbahçe. meryem did that for years.
