Great review mate. I just ordere it to complete my amazfit balance. Balance is for street and light sport while active edge for hiking, surviwal activities and kayaking. Dont need AOD in surviwal watch, nor speaker, payments or fancy t-rex look. Just need it to be tough and trully waterproof. Great watch. Wouldnlike to see durability test of it.

In my opinion, TFT displays are much brighter than amoled displays and since this watch is designed for fitness tracking and GPS for outdoor workouts hence they decided to go with TFT.

No calling features is understandable as a fitness product. But given it's price, no-AMOLED is such a deal breaker. After all it's still a smart "WATCH" and always-on-display always makes sense. I'm enjoying using my cheaper GTR 2 (New Version) with AMOLED, calling receiving feature(it's convenient at times), and internal storage also.

This watch is made for toughness man. If you want great looking watch then get Amazfit balance. I have it. Its great, but for tough enviroment like hiking and river kayaking I just ordered active edge. 😊

@@Mohankumar2004. Yeah, great durable smartwatch. I managed to hit it few times and no single scratch on it. I was light diving with it and pressed buttons underwater with no issues. Only down side is limited memory of the watch. You can install only few watch faces and 2-3 apps and it runs out of memory. I installed dumbell trainer, stretch strainer app and removed all stock w-f and istallen 2 favourites.
