You cannot underestimate what Tony Visconti did for T.Rex. Visconti was as important to the T.Rex sound as George Martin was to The Beatles.

We can't have any new T.Rex stuff for obvious reasons. However my friend Damien and I spent several hours sitting talking to Marc on the steps of the Liverpool Stadium back in '72. He was a super guy, terrifically talented and I think he would have really enjoyed this. Thumbs up. Marc died in '77 of course and I haven't seen my old friend Damien since 1978. Such a long time now my old friends.

Whenever i watch this video i get lump in the back of my throat as if I'm going to start crying! I guess the song /video in a way sentimentally represents in the epitome of Marc Bolan. Great tune & footage but for some reason just his an emotional button with me. I think it's one of the most beautiful videos of Marc & T Rex out there. I love the the guy still.

Up for RocknRoll Hall of Fame 2020 ! Marc like some of the best Rockers had the ability to work the hell out of 3 chords and turn it into something fresh & original every time. A genius taken too soon. He was in that career recuperation phase which every big talent goes through and has to go through to recharge their batteries when he died. I think he would have finally become a Superstar in the USA like Bowie with a full scale blitz in the 80s. The 90s and beyond he would have had the exalted Elder Statesman status like Bowie and Grunge idol neil young !

Your video is so well done! It brought tears to my eyes. Thanks very much for this. Altogether a really lovely tribute to Marc. I also read that all the music is Marc's /T Rex's (not added on from other musicians, except the strings I believe). Being all of Marc's actual music, and Tony V. doing this - it does mean something special to me. I think it was done with heart, as a genuine tribute to Marc Bolan.

I'm a purist and typically don't care for the digital remixes of Bolan's music. Yet I do like Visconti's tribute track. What I mostly want to say is that I LOVE your video. The footage complements the song very well and packs an emotional punch. I cried near the end, and I'm not the weepy sort at all. Great job.
