As Suge said in his interview, this is entertainment. People paid money to be entertained. If you ain’t moving the crowd then you’re not winning the battle. You could have the most extra terrestrial, spiritual miracle lyrics but if the people ain’t feeling it then you probably going to walk away with a loss. Now if you want to have strictly lyrical battles then just put 2 battlers in a room with a mic and let them go for it. That might make the purists happy but it won’t make anybody any money.
