Türkiye’s Baykar Industries has recently purchased Italian aviation company Piaggio a company with a well known reputation in the civil aviation sector, this is one example of Türkiye’s meteoric rise to be a key player in global military and armed industries. The companies Baykar, Otokar, Nurol, BMC and others are examples to many nations of what strong determination and vision can achieve.

Work will continue until 2030 and the defense industry localization rate will be 100%. Russia, China, the United States, France and England produce engines in the world, and among them, only the United States can produce fifth-generation engines, China has also produced them, but they are not yet perfect. Türkiye is trying to produce a fifth generation engine, we produce 100% domestic and national Gökbey helicopter and helicopter engines, we also produce engines for unmanned aerial vehicles, we also produce tank engines.
