In my opinion, Turkiye 🇹🇷, after analysing pros and cons, must build the aircraft carrier, efficient enough to be a platform for the improved version of Kaan - 5th gen fighter aircraft. Simultaneously Turkiye's should take adequate measures to diversify and boost it's economic powerhouse. Turkiye 🇹🇷 should ally with Qatar 🇶🇦, who was denied a repair of Airbus fleet and it led to a legal battle, whose outcome was in favor of Airbus, if I remember correct. Qatar 🇶🇦 with it's finance and Turkiye 🇹🇷 with it's technical efficiency, if both collaborate. It will strengthen the Islamic world in defense and sovereignty. Additionally if Iran 🇮🇷 also gets included, it will strengthen the equation further.

Honestly if they have the tech they should! Its not necessary to build a nuclear powered carrier as it will be only used regionally. Türkiye should build a carrier (or two) to project its power in the region

Our Turkish people must not focus on aircraft carriers but instead they must focus on making ships for Turkish navy that can create artificial islands in a matter of days like a week along with runways and aircrafts repair and air defense units and hospitals which are below the surface of these artificial islands these islands are more effective than aircraft carriers as they can survive huge amount of aireal nuclear and biological bombings if made right and can help control part of ocean and provide permanent survelliance. They will acquire first with cooperation with Germany, but mostly equipped with turkish systems and weaponry Type 214 AIP submarines. Then is national submarine project MILDEN which are expected to be bigger in size and displacement than german ones. There is also STM 500 submarines which are smaller for shallow waters which could be acquired if there is a need. Also there are underwater unmanned vehicles and submarines projects. For frigates they will be acquiring Istif class which we could assume that could have different configuration in later ships.

Advise President Erdogan to reconsider building a large aircraft carrier. Maybe design it but not actually build it. If going to build one, then build a small model aircraft carrier. Save that money and build other things like more of the upgraded 6th generation Kaan, frigates, destroyers, etc.
