Malook Shah graveyard, once known as "Maseetan Graveyard" is oldest in Bahawalpur and dates back to about 1500 to 1600 years old. This is same era as Makli Graveyard in Sindh.
There are few historic spots, graves, which I had covered in this V Log.
The Maqbara of Hazrat Malook Shah Ghazi Qadri is located in this graveyard. Its his name which changed the graveyard name as well.
Then there are 2 graves of Sahaba Rasool in this graveyard. One is the grand son of Hazrat Abu Bakar.
Nawab Bahawal khan Abbasi the first who laid the first stone for the cityof Bahawalpur in 1748, is buried here along with Nawab Mubarak Khan, who succeeded him.
The historic site of Masjig Char Yar is also located in this graveyard. This is the site where 4 wali Allah, pious people did maraqaba and Zikar of Allah together. Namely these are Hazrat Lal Shabaz Qalander, Hazraty Baba Fareed Ganj Shakar, Hazrat Shersha posh Surkh Bukhari and Hazrat Bha uddin Zakariya Multani.
