Hi Rusty. An unrelated but interesting observation. My husband is a fisherman and has noticed seeing migratory birds heading south already. Normally, it's October at least before he sees them. Is the temperature dropping in the USA or do they know something that we don't ?

Hi there. There’s been some cooler weather in the NE, but nothing too prolonged. Some intrusions of Canadian air from time-to-time. I’m not an expert on migratory birds. Maybe they do know something? -Rusty

Rusty, today marks the 36th anniversary of category 3 hurricane Gilbert raking across Jamaica east to west from Morant Point to Negril Point. 45 dead. A day never to be forgotten!!! I could be wrong, but it seems Francine wound down extra fast upon landfall. Hope nobody died!
