Hey, RJ. Since you are vectorizing your images, you could also try editing a vector version to remove the backgrounds. That's what I am doing...I use Adobe Illustrator.

Do the designs come out better when you vectorize first?

Well, it depends on the design. Simple designs can come out almost perfect,@@drakingson. With complex designs, you may lose some detail. But if you have a background color that contrasts with the rest of the image, you can do a cleaner job of removing the background if it is a vector.

In canva you can easily add back the extra parts you didn’t want removed, just select one of the brush options in the top left corner.
