Am I the only one who recalls watching a really good live version of this on KZbin, from the 80's or 90's? It doesn't seem to be up anymore, since all of the live performances of the song that I can find right now are either recent, in low quality or with different improvisation

They play this in casiopea vs t-square, which is a really long live set. It might be worth checking that out.

You may be remembering this kzbin.info/www/bejne/rXOnYpKjp7eIf80 It's a long recording of a live concert, omens of love is part of it.
This reminds me of Azure Blue World from Sonic Adventure

I'm sure Junko Shiratsu did a tribute to this music in Knuckles' Chaotix, in the song "Tribute". Knuckles' Chaotix was released 10 years after this album. Also I'm sure she likes T-SQUARE, I can hear many similarities to T-SQUARE's music in Knuckles' Chaotix.

It may sound similar. But in my opinion, i feel "Hello Goodbye" (cover song from The Beatle's "Hello Goodbye") from T-Square was probably the inspiration for Azure Blue World. "Still Dawn" from Resident Evil to me seems to be the most similar to Omens of Love. Just my opinion, but i might need to cover more of their albums to find more patterns.

@@RainbowRoadCrashTest The note sequence of the lead melody starting at 0:45 in Omens of Love consists of pretty much exactly the same notes as the one that plays from 0:21 to 0:26 in Azure Blue World (C-B-C-D-E-D-C-A-G-E)
