She was an incredible feat of engineering--by far the widest ship ever built. I never saw her, but I've heard descriptions from those who did, and they said she was as impressive as any ship, including the Seawise Giant/Jahre Viking.

this is still a tribute for the largest ship ever built in sweden, and the quite small town uddevalla. :)

It was built that wide because the archipelago on the way to open sea made it nearly impossible to increase length and depth/heigth any more...
