T.T. Quick - T.T. Quick (1984) Full EP

I've seen them quite a few times. They used to play at L'Amour in Brooklyn every Thursday. My friend's band's first gig was opening for them at The Metro in North Brunswick, NJ and they were the nicest guys. Helpful, friendly, very cool. It was a great experience for all of us.

I remember when this album came out. I met these guys at an in store album release party at Johnny Z's Megaforce Record Store in Clark NJ. Where did the band name come from? They were told by management there was an opportunity to get this first record out but they had to "throw it together quick". They wanted to name the band Tit Quick but for obvious marketing issues they finally settled on TT Quick. Great UL...Thanks!

One of the greatest hard rock bands. I'll never forget where I was when I heard Metal Man for the first time. It was on the syndicated radio show "M-m-m-m-m-m-m-metal Shop" at midnight on a Sunday. I heard about the shows at "L'amour (or Lamours if you're from Bay Ridge) but I never got to see them. Fast forward to 2024, Mark and David are having a semi-reunion for a fund raising event March 23rd, 2024....I'll be there....finally. (I wish there were some recordings from L'amour.) Not sure where Thrown Together Live was recorded.

I bought this EP when it was first released. Child of Sin is one of the best metal songs ever in my opinion.. Victims is also a killer song.

My first time hearing this, and I think it's awesome! I've been listening to Metal Of Honor since it came out, and it's one of my favorite albums of all. This is definitely heavier. But, I can't get over how the guitarist took a little piece of Set Me Free by Sweet for the end part of the solo in the first song. Great album, though. I'll be listening again!

I’m reading Jon Zazulas book and he praised this band but, said they got buried by all the thrash metal he was releasing on Megaforce. He started the Avalanche label just to be able to release TT Quick .

When was Wing and a Prayer recorded? Was that recorded during the Metal of Honor sessions or earlier? I never heard that song before and it's killer. I saw them play live all the time, but who knows, I don't remember if I heard that live. Great band.... love these guys...
