It's my pleasure and joy to have found this video to behold the wonderful view of these colourful ancient villages frozen in the time, and I say this because although I never been around those places it left me a great relief when I saw that they look like I imagined at the moment I decided to write my first fiction story book about the witches and the inquisition during the medieval age, fiction but with much of persons and actual events from those places at that past time. Cities like Colmar, Strasbourg, Selestat, and some others, are placed in my book named Los Demonios de Selestat ( the demons of Selestat ) and whose main character is Heinrich Kramer.

So awesome. Would love to be there that time of the year during Christmas. Almost like its out of a movie. Quaint, cozy, beautiful and a lot of history. Though in France, you can see some of the German influence. I read they speak "Alsatian" , which they say is close to German but need to read up on that more. Anyone can add to this that knows more history?
