Skeeeeel, Thank you for engaging in the Tech Tree Showcases again. I really enjoy them, especially when you point out the gems (if any) along the way! Of the 3 T10 Heavies they buffed this patch, I think I'm enjoying the IS-4 the most, but second would have to be the E5. Still think E-100 not up to snuff, with either gun tho....

Ahhh you're not using the dose efficiently... Prescription: take skill dose per day for better gaming experience, if symptoms persist "being stomp for 0-15 per minute straight 20 battles" take another skill dose.

@@blackwidow7804 I was correcting Skill by saying that the accuracy was not in fact nerfed. The dispersion hasn't changed, but the gun handling is better than before. It's more accurate when shooting on the move and turning the turret, but its overall maximum accuracy is no different than before.

I have T34, and I love it despite all shortcomings. Yes, it is slow, and yes it lacks DpM, but gun still hits hard, and it still make some damn fine credits. I have 5 skills crew on it.

The T29 heavy was the first tank I made it to Tier 7 with, back in the day when you could grind to it through the M4A3E2 Sherman Jumbo medium, then I had to go back and grind through the T1 and M6 heavies to get the better gun to avoid a fully stock T29 grind. After topping the T29 I have not played it much since, but I have never ever sold it because it's an awesome tank, definitely one of the best Tier 7 heavies. I played it earlier in my 'career,' so my stats with it aren't as good compared to the tanks I play now. However, it still holds my damage record of 2890 dealt personally - I remember that battle on Serene Coast very well :D

I went for a turbo charger on the E5, that small boost to the reverse speed is nice. It makes backing out of trouble a lot easier but that is just me.

yup always skip the ventilation and go for turbo or the new V-stab thing.

Many many years ago T29 to E5 was the most exciting line for me. I loved every tank, even T1 and M6 were fun. Glad to see they’re competitive again...Definitely armor is more trollish!

I feel like the full dpm setup on the E5 just makes it a worse Sconq. I think having the equipment that gives him +4km/h top speed is quite good as you are not a direct competitor to the Sconq anymore (yes you still are but not as much). You will reach position faster like a chieftain but have a worse dpm than a sconq but only marginally. That's my opinion obviously.

The dpm is practically the same now with the sconq. The accuracy also seems to be quite on par now. The t110e5 however is better at face hugging and brawling than the sconq, so I completely agree that the added 4km/h speed makes a huge difference

Great showcase mate. Never been a big fan of the new(er) Tier9/10 and enjoyed the T34 and T30 more. I've always liked the hull down action of the big american heavies with great guns.

I'm at T29 right now and I'm enjoying it as well as I enjoyed tier 5 and 6. They are just great. Yes, they are big and juicy as a meatball, but the DPM is awesome and when top tier you can just make hardcore pressure (which I was a majority of times with them, sorry if I took you that place and you ended as bottom tier). They are also playable at stock except for the mobility, the stock gun is ok but sometimes requires gold (I started T29 with 90 mm, didn't bother to play with 76 mm, which I unlocked on M6)

American heavies was unique a couple years back then when it was the only tech tree that could go reliably hull down. Nowadays almost every nation got a hull down tier10 that outshines the E5. Eg. WZ1115a, Sconq, chieftian. Hell even some meds can do hull down as good if not better than e5

M103 forehead plate above the gun mantlet got buffed so now it's an auto bounce at full gun depression instead of an auto pen at any angle

I would ditch the vents on the T1 heavy and M6 and use turbo. They have medium tank power/weight and them moving at 39 km/hr makes them feel like a Pershing :3

T34 is not the best, but very fun to play. You go hulldown and sometimes hit enemy heavys for 400 throught their upper front. You also do not struggle as much in tier 10. So, not the best, but fun.
