really loving this build! ty for sharing, very satisfying and loving the clear speed. struggling a bit to survive in red maps but i'm pretty sure it's a gear issue on my part lmao.

I absolutely love those off-meta builds. Even more when they have some sort of proliferation/explosion. Which contents do you think this build is good at?

Anything with density that isn't inherently tanky. Expedition, Alva, altars, shrines, strongboxes. I did Expedition + Alva + Shrines + Strongboxes t16 Jungle Valley farm til I had enough currency/levels to start doing t17s.

@@aandrenery Ritual with the new mobs I would wait until you have Heartstopper jewels and ~40% chaos res. Blight should be easy as well with correct ring annoints, I just personally hate the mechanic lol.

Thanks for uploading this. Chaos dot was my first build in POE and I've been dying to give it another go since then. What's your preferred rotation for mapping? Simply Contagion/Blight and then use Bane on tougher mobs? Also do you have any suggestions on some cheap early uniques before getting dragonflight and cane? thanks!

Yep! Contagion then Blight, with Bane for tougher packs/rares. Can of Unraveling is 1 alch and will take you to red maps, and any +chaos skill amulet is fine until you get replica.

Do you have a budget varient? I'd love to relive ED/C from harvest just don't have a ton of currency rn can prob farm 5-10d tomorrow

Cane of Unraveling and replace empower 3 with Efficacy can take you through red maps. Levels are more important than the endgame setup.

Yeah Blight is so much smoother to cast than ED.

How much currency did you invest into this? Haven't played chaos damage builds in years, and am currently considering what I wanna reroll to from my MS of zenith build which felt...Not great in some content ngl lol Got like 30-35div to spend. Also how tanky does it feel? Channeling can be a bit of a pain in certain map mods I guess? Fantastic to see off-meta stuff though, great job!

40d in this video, another 10 or so today (enhance 4 linked to contagion for bigger aoe and some corrupted jewels). It feels fairly tanky for non-juiced t16s because of the recovery from Polymath and being able to use the new ES/EVA armor items. I rarely died in t16s in the 90s with full spell suppression, all max res, 80% evade chance, and heartstopper. Big phys hits are your weakness, would not recommended doing super juiced t16s (delirium) and t17s can always be rippy depending on the mods. The best defensive layer is contagion pops clearing the screen. Take 60% less ignite duration pantheon, get burning ground immunity, and run red altars + alva + expedition + shrines for currency (I took atlas node that gives extra 20 points and then switched into different setup when I was ready for t17s).
