Jonny Lee Miller should get more recognition,man.We love him ever since "Hackers" (and we still keep the VHS of that movie)...And ""Plunkett & Macleane" is very underrated movie.

Trainspotting 3 would probably just be the three of them all 60 years old, Shooting up Heroin and shoplifting again hahaha

J.L.M. was such a beautiful man. Even the usual aging doesn’t cause such a drastic change.

I didn't detect any nostalgia in T2. There is remembrance, but there is no wishing for things to be as they were, which is true nostalgia. Life moves on; and people generally improve with age although in this case less quickly than you'd hope.

Nah definitely not, love Jonny and Dr. Who (at least before this recent incarnation) but don't see that as a good fit at all...

Unfortunately, I saw Trainspotting the film before I read the book. So I could only picture the characters of the book as the actors in the film. Luckily the book has more far more characters and is more f*cked up so swings and roundabouts :D

Second Prize is (arguably) the best of the "ancillary characters" and he got cut out in the films.

Steel4 Really? What makes you say that? isn't he just constantly drunk?

I've seen the girl is in the trailer, and she was on the original poster, so I'm wondering why she isn't included in the new poster or press junkets?
@thegageinator8057 жыл бұрын
Robert J. Williamson she only had one scene

Melissa Gerson I just remember 20 something years ago hearing that he was the only person in trainspotting that wasn't actually Scottish. After seeing him in hackers I just assumed he was American. He had me fooled all these years. Haha.
@MrTurnskin7 жыл бұрын
Problem is his Scottish accent is terrible and his American isn't much better! how you guys didn't know he was English is beyond me
