Pakistan used to produce such compelling batsmen but now in over two decades it has hardly produced dependable batsmen who can win you matches. Note that most of the one who won it for Pk in the 2000s were the product of the 90s era. I belive that there are now two extreme types of batting schools and neither works well for the team to emulate. The first is the Shahid Afridi school of batting and the second is the Misbah UK Has school, and it was one thing that there was one guy who was like this but such has been their influence that an entire generation has come up knowing them as the right way to bat. This has spelt disaster. Babur Azam belongs to the Misbah philosophy and he needs to be removed from not just captaincy but even the team except in Tests. Pk board should try to go back to the basics and try to produce actual batsmen who possess the right mindset to win with both grit and flair. I also beieve that provincial power play has hurt Pk batting as the traditional pool of batsmen - Karachi has been sidelined. Note how little the batsmen from this place have gotten a chance. This isn't about raising city based grievance but put out in the public domain that such closing out of options based upon non cricketing reasons never helps any nation. Pk needs a new crop of batsmen. The current lot is too broken to be fixed.

AS A PAKISTANI I AM VERY HAPPY THAT INDIA WON AGAINST PAKISTAN. The reason would be so astonishing and mere of surprise if Pakistan had won the match against India it would had saved babar captaincy. And our Pakistan team and their fans have such kind of dwarf thinking they consider to beat India just vanish all the previous mistake and unfair of Pakistan team. The condition was tough for india when india came to bat. The ground was too wet like it was totally full of water, the weather was overcast and the ball was swinging more than 2 to 3 inches and was wet not coming on the bat either. Luck was in Pakistan's favor as when they came whether it was sunny and the score was low the outfield was a bit dry, still they lost 😂😂
