You should add 2 footbridges on both sides of the train station to make walking more accessible and to make the route shorter.

For the weird collector/local road w/ parking; it might be an idea to turn a small segment or a block into a pedestrian road. You could build a farmers market on it or a suburban transport center.

Nice layout, can't wait for it to be filled out. At 12:16 I think you can add a junction connecting Cozy Street and Park Street since the avenue is kinda redundant and not connected to the grid other than through the roundabout either end of it. Oh, the lake, would be cute to rename it The Queen's Craddle to match with The King's Rest :D
