That's true, but Jinpachi has been dead for a long time. To say the current employees know him would be going by the bold assumption that the Jinpachi era employees are neither dead nor retired by the time he came back. Even if there were pictures or articles about him in the Zaibatsu, that would raise a fuckton of questions as to how he's alive after being presumed dead for so long.

How come Jinpachi knows Jin in this cinematic? In the actual Story Mode playing as jin, he has no idea who he is... I get this is a gag ending but was it so hard for it to be Kazuya to shout Jin's name instead? Same effect.

I know, right? Jinpachi could've spoken first, saying "Kazuya?!" in a surprised manner. Kazuya being surprised to learn he isn't alone on the rocket could go "Grandpa?!" then look to his left (our right) and realize Jin is there, saying "Jin?!" It would've made a ton more sense and would've had the same effect.

Bro the mishimas are devil slayers. Regular heihachi slayed like 2 devils. The last one survived because he was a mishima aswell. Heihachi went toe to toe with full devil kazuya. And lars (another mishima) survived an encounter with azazel absorbed kazuya. The mishimas are just built different. Jin (another mishima) Was able to whoop, heihachi, jinpachi, kazuya, azazel. At the age of 19-22. Keep in mind he's not even fully grown. A mans bones keep getting denser till the age of 30. So jin is still a spring chicken.

No, he made him starve to death underground. That's arguably even more cruel. He didn't even have the courtesy to kill Jinpachi when he defeated him (you know, deliver an honourable killing blow). But then, maybe he knew he couldn't. After all, Heihachi did say "The Mishima's are invincible!" to Raven, so maybe he thought his father wouldn't die so easily, presuming he passed on his superhuman durability and endurance onto him.
