Bryan thrives from all the changes they made. He was already an aggressive character so adding heat just amplified him so much more.

he has tools to help him get aggressive, but he’s always been a defensive counter hitting character at his core.

It's tough to say. Bryan always had to play neutral timing defensive counterhit and mental frame advantage game. His on hit df2,1 being +5 instead of +8, not having mach punch as the armor move, f1+2 being the armor move instead of a +6 on block high changes were nerfs to the way i play Bryan's mental game. The new moves and property changes on his old moves doesn't really lend to the "thriving from all the changes they made". He plays about the same and has to worry about the same things (if anything, he has to worry about more pressure than before). His new stuff isn't impressive at all when playing against a competent opponent tbh. Knee is just a great player and can pilot any and every character to the highest rank. He didn't really use much of the new stuff in this video either.
