Agree that I enjoy this level much more than the sub 1k ELO players. Also, building a tc as close as in game 2. Villagers can melee persian TC AND the tc can shoot. Meaning the persian tc will start with like 2400 hp. Fair game ;)

In game 1 - Honestly, apart from the stone walls it doesn't seem too suspicious (that his opponent knew what was coming). 2 castle arambai is a pretty popular arena strat if you're against a civ who is booming. With that said, definitely not normal to have 2 layers of stone wall.

At this point anytime I get hideout and my opponent is malay I just palisade wall in feudal the sides of the map and then add stone walls asap and even research fortified walls. I used to go for this strategy some months ago but since it became so popular is just cute to see so many people going for it blindly and falling behind by 50 villagers while I just boom and build to castles on the sides.
