Daki casual follower here, been thru the worst month of my life with 2 surgeries and a complicated hospitalization. T95 is more average friendly, 330+ mm pen obliterates the tortoise but it has a way more reliable gun and amazing dpm

The tortoise is absolutely one of my all time favorite tier 9 tank destroyers in the game. And I absolutely would take it over the doom turtle. Has a little bit more visibility and its gun is just absolutely out of this world. If you get the armor angle just a little bit the armor is absolutely fantastic as well. The doom turtles basically just sit there and let people shoot at you but if they get behind you you are definitely screwed.

l also liked the Tortoise more than T95 l mean Tortoise has better APCR and HE rounds, much better DPM, better gun handling, same mobility, pretty much the same armor In my opinion the much better tank

T95's two advantages are much smaller weakspots (very tricky at range, where tort is still fairly easy to pen) & better alpha damage, but the Tortoise is much more well rounded overall. T95 is situational, Tortoise is almost always strong.

MOEd this beast this week in 78 battles. Not many Tier 9 tanks can give you 10k battles. Fun fact: The radio operator in Tortoise suffers just like the radio operator in KV-5 :D

Tortoise is a great tank, but showcasing a replay when you're spamming full gold, food consumable with probably a +4-5 skill crew is unrealistic for a lot of players.

@@Dakillzor one on one yes, but in a team game, as WoT should teoretically be, Tutel is far better imo. Very few can penetrate Tutel in the face, but Turt has a big cupola which is far easier to pen, thus the dpm diff is balanced

Daki, I know its a good tank, but IMO that tanks has weak spots gallore. when I see it I just press gold key and shoot its right side machine gun port. easy farm tbh. especially since it's very slow

when i drive my low pen tier 8 medium/heavy, i fear the turtle 1 because i can't do anything against it if its hull down, i might hit his half pixel coupla if i am above it. but if i drive a decent tier 9/10, i dont have any problem with the tortoise, because if you spam high tier gold, you will just turn it into cheese.

it needs a buff, the armours not quite living up to its assault tank designation and that huge tumour of a cupola should get less pen from HEAT rounds as it has a stand off plate in front

Hey Daki and team, hope y'all are doing good! I left a fair bit of criticism on the last VK video, but it wasn't constructive really, so I wanna change that. First of all, this video's quality was top notch, really happy with it! As for the VK K footage you guys didn't wanna drop, I'd actually recommend doing a simple voice over commentary (single take, take it easy) to avoid the sound issue. It is a bit more work, but this way the footage would definetely be usable! Hope that helps more, thanks for the content and stay safe.
