Good thing you have the hardware version 1.5. Versions 1.3 and 1.4 had an issue that could cause damage.

It would be nice if they designed these to run from a 6S lipo battery. 5S is not very common.

I f i understand well, you can just connect any source from 5-21 volt.. matbe you need to change the connector, but thats about it.

​@@TonyAlbus A 6S lipo is 25.2V at full charge, so it wouldn't be able to run from a typical drone battery without a buck regulator.
