Reason 1) They say EV, a green technology where it doesn't emit smoke. But, it utilizes electricity where electricity produces a hell amount of smoke with toxic gas and chemicals. So, the fundamental reason is wrong. Reason 2) Nobody wants to wait for hours to get charged while traveling. Assume you have Tata Curvv or any other EV car. Tata claims that curvv gives 502km for one full charge. In real time, it may give around 480-490. If I want to travel to a place which is 1000 kms from my place then I need to charge twice and wait for 2 hours, which is unbearable. Reason 3) Changing the battery after some time which costs 7-8 lakhs is unbearable.

You should see china,korea and europe where 60%is electric ..they started 10 years back with same doubt and now it's everywhere and also affordable cost..we are 10 years behind them in development of e-vehicles..cost will come down here as volume increases and once development phase is over. .future for the next 20 years in electric vehicle only..
