I am not a Hindustani l don't understand the language.But the songs are catchy and the dances go with the rhythm of the music.Practically the main actors are really 5 star category.Aiswarya,Anil and Akshaye.AR Rahman is a talented musician and composers and sings.lt is a joy to see people like this who work and have succeeded.The Taal theme is very lovely and you can loose yourself in the music.Also the song related with the theme is so touching.Until today people want to sing the song.The singers are very good.So what is this complaint flop etc.lf you find other films better see those films.l have been watching Taal more than a dozen times.l still don't tire of it.

Anil Kapoor's character took a stand for Mansi when Mehtas wanted to discredit and humiliate her by suggesting that she models for a lingerie brand, knowing fully well that it was way out of her comfort zone and her work. While Manav was instrumental in her humiliation and threw out her and her father even without listening to their version of events. Only in a Bollywood movie would the heroine return to a man who has no respect for her, her father, her career and her ambition. Manav just wants a sanskari wife. While Vikrant valued her talent and made her a star without taking away her culture from her. Stupid movie.
