Chakacha is a style among taarab music styles. Malika is a Bajuni born ai Kismayu. Bajunis are originated from Shungwaya now South east Somalia.

The music introduced here is CHAKACHA! Not to be confused with TAARAB. Chakacha is exclusively Kenyan coastal music! Taarab is a completely different music genre from Zanzibar/Tanzania.

Thanks for your comment however, beg to differ, especially with the song "Sinaye" which is indeed Taarab and Njiwa. Lakini asante kwa comments. Wape Wape has Chakacha influence and Mpenzi though it is Rhumba has some Taarab nuance.
