I fell in love with his music, quite a few years ago I heard this sound coming from the blues stage at the jazz fest ... moving quickly but not so fast I dropped my beer or the red beans and rice !

alley katt mullins. that's because you have to listen to blues music, you actually have to have an attention span. how many times have you ever been to a blues concert and the audience has it's eyes closed and swaying to the music. that's just what you do.

Tab's playing has certainly gotten a lot cleaner over the years. I saw him in Houston soon after his first album came out and he hit a few sour notes, but not so much anymore. BTW. I have recorded in the same studio he has (Sugarhill Studio in Houston).
