I’m a new subscriber to your channel! Really love the content and the passion you have for HD! I have the exact same 22 CVO in envious green fade. I’m looking to do the Tab Performance slip-ons on my CVO. I definitely want to keep the factory heat shields. I just want to confirm that you went with the 4.5” and not the 4” BAM. The only reason I’m trying to confirm is that another KZbinr with a 22 CVO indicated that the heat shields didn’t work. Thanks again for doing what you’re doing and sharing your knowledge. Awesome and welcome to our channel. Tab makes a great product. If your interested in keeping the gloss black heat shields get the 4 1/2 inch mufflers. If not, the 50 cals are a great option. Hope that you join in the live chats on Wednesday nights at 8pm est.

I put the 4.5's on my 19 Ultra with the 2/1/2 headers to maintain the stock heat shields with zombie baffles and I could not be happier! I added the target tune and wide band sensors when I bought the headers. Kicks a$$!!! Btw, the Tab mufflers don't need heat shields. They are beautiful without them. Top quality!

I had the 4.5" BAM sticks with zombie baffles on my '24 Indian Chieftain and the grunts and low end sounded great, but at higher RPMs, it sounded like someone beating a snare drum in my brain. It was just too loud. So I did what some people did on the forums and replaced the right side with the medium baffle and kept the left side as the zombie baffle. Now it's perfect. Still has the great idle and low RPM grunts but a lot quieter, deeper roar at higher RPMs... Gonna give it a couple weeks to see how it turns out

I put the TAB 4.5 BAM STICKS with the medium baffles to save my wife's hearing. Wish I would have went with the Zombies, and I will. That's what I really like about TAB, you can buy and stick in other baffles from them for only 100 bucks.

Great video, been running Tab 4 1/2 for couple of years and love them. As much as I wanted to love the z rings I thought they took away from the sound so I removed them. I’ve been running the zombie baffles and prefer the sound over the added torque of the zombies.

I love the Tabs with the Zombie baffles. I don't hear a difference with the Z rings. They are my favorite slip-ons.

Did you have to get a tuner ? Really want BAM sticks w/Zombie baffles on my 22 Road Glide ST but dont want to tune to void my warranty .

No tuner required. As it did not affect air flow. If you remove the CAT then yes you will have to retune

There are no gaskets for the mufflers on the 2022 touring bikes. When I went to stage 2, the gaskets at the head pipe to the heads where replaced.

I just purchased a 24 road glide. 😍 OBSESSED! Can whip that thing around in slow speeds no problem! I had a 21 heritage before and the slip ons required a gasket. I would assume if the 22 touring model with the same type of motor etc, it should be the same for the new 2024s?

@@DrHarley Ok, we can agree on that. It's going from a domestic to a commercial sewing machine. As there was no comparison to the CVO stock pipes, as well as the short duration of the video regarding the new pipes, it is quite hard to determine the real difference. I think that there is nothing wrong with the CVO stock pipes. Nevertheless, I am getting a bit tired of people comparing Harley stock exhausts to sewing machines; it has become such a cliche.

It's all personal preference. I prefer loud bikes. But not going much ferther with this one. Gonna leave the rest alone except the suspension.
