Great tutorial! Thank you so much! To prevent the metal from warping you can use the disc cutter and stamping tools before you saw out the metal and flatten the piece again if you have to. Thank you for a wonderful tutorial!❤

A quick little tip that MAY be a little less accurate if one does not have calipers or is just lazy, is to take a string and set it behind the stone when you go to trace it and mark the string right where the edge of the stone is, then fold it up and over the stone and mark right at the length you need the prong to be then use that as your prong size. Even paper will work

Absolutely beautiful. I find I keep gravitating to bead weaving, but love wirework as well. Am definitely going to give this a try. Thank you so much.

I liked the tutorial, thank you! I only would to know what kind of metal is best for this technique: dead soft/half hard/hard metal sheet.

tap the black dot with a pointy tool and then the punch will sit in that divot and then the screw down can poke the hole.

You are terrific and a joy to watch and learn from. May I ask you a question? What size letter stamps do you use. I want to purchase, but have never used them before, so I am out to lunch on that one. Thank you.
@beaducation7 жыл бұрын
You are welcome. Thanks for the feedback! :) The most popular letters are 3/32" or 1/8th". They are pretty close in size. Hope this helps.

I was taught to hit the die one or two strong hits, not several because multiple hit can move the metal in the cutter
