One more thing about Tabaco, those Moro raiders werent alone who raided Tabaco. The Dutch at least once reached the town. Forgot the year. They razed the saint gregory seminary in barangay Panal. The time was even earlier than the church of saint john the baptist.

The early days of Tabaco is mostly fainted history. Only scarce source is available right now. In the olden days, before 1611, it was under Daraga jurisdiction. Which in turn the provinces of southern Bicol was mostly under the Ilo ilo admistrative fold. Thats ecclesiastical administration during that time. As we dont have yet that est. communication with the northern province of Nueva Caseres, now Naga City.
