I was a student at AKADA and my bonding with Preeti Ma'am was very special. Honestly i still can't digest the fact that she is no more. She had helped me through couple of auditions but honestly i was not the best of actors anyways. She loved my music collection which were mostly experimental music .Ma'am was very passionate about the Acting school . She was such a humble and loving soul. Miss You Preeti Ma'am.

Her habit of smoking and drinking also played major role in her health deterioration. She used to visit Osho ashram and was in a temporary live-in relationship with a man she met in the ashram but one day she threw him out of her house with all his bags in the middle of the night. (It was a big drama with shouting and banging of our door that night and police had to be called) She used to stay in a 1bhk flat in Sion and was my neighbour from 1993 to 2002 (was very sweet and friendly with my mom, always smiling but sad from inside) after that I shifted to Kandivali then after 10 years I heard she passed away.

DIDI, I have seen lot of movies of PREETI G & also liked her performances. But sad to know that she left this world with the terrible shock.
