All three of you would love to taste Dutch pastry. For instance a 'Roombroodje'. Which is bread similar as the one you gays eat with strawberries and that, to me, unknown paste. This bun contains a bit of lemon in its dough. After baking and when cooled off it is being cut open and filled with custard vanilla pudding. They serve it after it is with powdered with a thin layer of sugar. If you want to you could add fresh strawberries...yummie! But lots of fruit will do, ill guess. Another one is a 'Tompouce'. This is a top and bottom of puff pastry and the filled with custard pudding and whipped cream. On the top layer they add a thin layer of pink colored fondant (melted fine sugar crystals). A 'mokka' variant exist too. This one comes with some coffee flavored butter cream on both insides of the puff pastry to protect the pastry against getting soft, then the custard and whipped cream. The top is also coated with fondant. But this time it is coffee flavored.

I think it was said that Shinichi can not drink coffee due to the caffeine's affect on his health. He can have them in small amounts, which is why he mostly drinks tea. If he does get coffee, he gets decaf though.

Hello, hello :) we enjoyed today's video so much! Shinichi I am on a fruit diet and this made me so hungry but in a good comforting way. Everything seemed so, so delish! I would like to try the sweet potato dishes. I love sweet potatoes too, fun fact, however - in Bulgaria we don’t have sweet potatoes so the first time I had one was when I moved to study in Oklahoma. This is now my favorite food. Oklahoma is famous for purple yams, and they are very sweet. They use those to make pies in here. I like the purple jewel potatoes too! Thank you for always sharing many interesting places! Sending a big hug to both of you from me, Stan, and the cats!

I had Bokksu for a year and can attest to the fact that Japanese snacks are amazing. My favorite was the Sakura season box, with a wonderful variety of goodies. All the seasons from Bokksu are spectacular, for sure, but yeah, Sakura Bokksu is the best. I will get another subscription to Bokksu some day, because I have never had snacks and teas as delicious as what I have had from Japan.

I don't know what I want more? It all looked so good. Some of my favourites and a couple new things I can't wait to try. One of things that made me miss Japan so much though was the soundtrack - the beeping of the pedestrian crossings. Nothing sounds more like a Japanese city than that beep beep... beep beep. It's really interesting that it's called a Baumkuchen! Baum means tree in German (and kuchen means cake) but a Baumkuchen is "a cylindrical cake built up of horizontal layers." I wonder if the layers represent the rings in a tree. Does anyone know if thats true or not?

Personally, I prefer only the two of you introducing foods and your narratives on their tastes are enough. And merely eating foods needs no collab. unlike say visiting a difficult destination to reach so collab with other travel vloggers is appreciated like entering a country known for cartel and other vloggers inputs are important. Fine if you invite a friend for eating but please don't vlog it. Only made me feel she's over-acting, (even interrupting while Satoshi is talking) unlike you two who are naturals. No offense.
