お笑い芸人フットボールアワーの後藤さんは かなり本格的に音楽をやっていて 特にギターに関してはかなりこだわりがあって何本も持ってるほど。 その後藤さんが2022年11月のKZbinのある動画で 最近達郎さんのアルバムを初期から聴いててめちゃくちゃカッコいい と言っていて、もし自分が若い頃に達郎ミュージックに出会っていたら ギターではなくてベースをやっていただろう、それほど達郎さんの曲のベースはカッコイイ と言ってました。 この曲なんかまさにそうですよね。

i’m so upset that the “mainstream” didn’t promote this kind of music. i’m from Romania, eastern europe, and i f... love this city pop and i’m so upset that i didn’t heard about city pop sooner. i’m glad tho i managed to get the hang of the american funk like luther vandross or patrice rushen but those japanese gems... damn, wish i could understand/speak the language so i could make covers with an orchestra and sing the vocals correctly. keep it up, if you know anymore japanese songs like this please make a cover of it and don’t forget to include the name of the composer with our letters so i can find their music more easily thanks
