The problem with 50/50 is you spend to much time judging if the other person is doing their 50. Our attitude after 48 years of marriage is to see who can out do who in the giving and caring. I pay more of the bills because I make more money. She takes care of food because she knows what we need and I’d spend 30% more not knowing what’s on sale. She has her own spending more. I don’t ask her about it because in almost 50 years her purchases have never got us into trouble. We go to church together but does women’s meetings I don’t go to and I go to men’s groups she doesn’t go to. She shared in some of my passions (flying airplanes, shooting, martial arts, camping, music, etc.) but never at a level I did. She did enough to showed she cared and I didn’t push her. She likes traveling so I tagged along on trips to the Caribbean, Alaska, Hawaii that she paid for. She’s the most giving and compassionate person I know, retired registered nurse, that’s all she ever wanted to do since she was a teenager but she stayed at home to raise the kids until they were all in school full time. The only man she has know intimately is me. She was 15 when I meet her and wasn’t giving it up until there was a wedding ring on her finger (I confess I tried). She is the second greatest gift of grace to me outside of salvation in Jesus Christ, much better than I deserve.

As for Dwayne and Gabrielle, they came into their relationship both individually set for life. Your money is part of your life. You not giving up your money, just because you fell in love. You worked your whole life to get to that point. I think this a good topic, but just can't compare these couples...

@@teday8388 well said! This person took her 100/100 statement literally and didn’t fully comprehend what she truly meant! This is because this person is not married! Single people are stuck on 50/50 splits, because they want those bills paid lol😂😅 If a couple started out with nothing from ground up, they won’t have a problem sharing their income with their spouse or supporting them financially when necessary. Chance did it for 15 years as a police officer while Tab was going to auditions and pursuing her dreams. He held the fort down and made sure they had health insurance and a steady paycheck to keep the roof over their heads. Now it’s his turn for him to pursue his dreams to give back ti the community and help at risk young men! It’s a win win situation! 😊❤️🙌🏾

Now that everyone is living their lives on the internet, somehow the universe at large has an idea that they have the right to make comments that are harmful, unwanted, etc. Marriage is hard to navigate without naysayers, if it works for them, good. In the words of Sheree: “Do you, Boo.”

Don’t ever comment on anyone else’s marriage. It’s not kind plus Tabitha runs in the same circles as Gabby. ❤ Mrs. Millionairess! The disrespect of the single interviewer. Chance is her husband. He contributed to her career which means Her success is my success, my success is her success. They are so beautiful.
