HI Helmand . 1) memorize the word where the sam then also remember the word of the song where you have to start teehai.. 2) normally I count 1 from sam then start teehai either from 3 or 4 depend on teehi length

Ho Nonis.. $$ = Pause would be same thing. for beginners its better to say Pause Loud so dont miss the timing.. later on students does not have to stay pause even... it will come automatically.. or student can say 1 2 instead of pause.. just a matter of personal choice.... Regards

Hello sir, I am a young tabla player but I have a problem. I have really sweaty hands when I play tabla, this bothers me when playing and makes the sound of the tabla worse. I do use the powder but it does not always help, do you maybe have any tips for me?

Hi Yousef sorry there is no solution other than using powder. One thing you can do let the air flow meaning keep you hands little higher at the end example is like holding mouse. Keep moving ring finger don't hold it tight there hope that help
