Good video I say yes minis are necessary but that’s because I’ve been buying them since the 90’s. I don’t paint much anymore so I like to buy the prepainted boxes from wiz kids. I do unboxing of them on my channel.

I'm surprised you didn't even mention pawns/tokens. With the right bases they're mechanically the same, if a step down in visuals (and cost).
