The nice thing about that approach is it forces everyone in the club to stay on their toes, listening carefully, in case they are asked.

Good question! You absolutely can. I find this is a good way to incorporate a newer member (or someone who isn't as advanced as the other members)... it gives them a couple minutes to think about what their answer would be, so if you ask them the same question, it will be a bit easier. For advanced members, I'd challenge you to ask unique questions.
