🎯 Key points for quick navigation: 00:09 *The video demonstrates an interactive dashboard for electric vehicle data analysis using Tableau software.* 00:35 *The data used for the dashboard will be provided via a Google Drive link in the video description.* 01:01 *The dashboard includes summary KPIs and various charts for detailed insights.* 02:25 *The dashboard features interactive filters allowing analysis from different angles.* 03:34 *Quick filters enable easy selection of specific states or manufacturers for focused analysis.* 05:27 *The dashboard design uses predominantly green colors to reflect the "green energy" theme of electric vehicles.* 10:36 *KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) provide a high-level summary of overall business performance.* 11:32 *The first KPI is total vehicles, which will be separated into BEV and PHEV categories.* 12:53 *BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) refers to fully electric vehicles, while PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle) refers to hybrid vehicles.* 15:29 *The dashboard will include charts showing total vehicles by model year from 2011 onwards.* 18:01 *The project uses Excel 2021 (or later) and Tableau 2022.3.0 (or later), with Tableau Public as a free alternative.* 19:24 *The dataset contains approximately 150,000 rows and 17 columns of electric vehicle data.* 23:32 *70-80% of data analysis work involves understanding and preparing the data before visualization.* 25:23 *The tutorial begins with connecting to the CSV data file in Tableau Desktop.* 27:54 *Tableau's interface includes logical and physical layers for data connections.* 29:44 *Tableau maintains both the displayed field name and the original remote field name from the data source.* 31:50 *The first visualization created is for the total number of vehicles using a count distinct function.* 35:29 *The second visualization calculates the average electric range of vehicles.* 37:37 *A data source filter is applied to include only data from 2011 onwards for all visualizations.* 40:40 *A calculation is created to count the total number of Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs).* 43:22 *A percentage calculation is added to show BEVs as a proportion of total vehicles.* 44:59 *The process is repeated to create visualizations for Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEVs).* Made with HARPA AI

46:00 for both tab BEV and PHEV miles should not consider in formatting as it is count of BEV and PHEV... I totally understood It is just negligible mistake by duplicating previous worksheet... BTW you doing fantastic work by giving great content with zero charges.... 💖

Great tutorial! thanks. My Vertical container for filter shows the default text "Hold down Shift to drop floating objects....". Is there a way to hide this text from that container ? I tried to add a filter parameter over it but that text is still available.

My man, its great that you posted this video, its helpful but damn, stop saying "getting or not". For people that don't know much english, they might not notice but it's quite obvious and a bit bothersome. Just an observation mate. Other than that....love the content. Cheers. .
@timeformegaman2 ай бұрын
Are you insane?
@danielbogos2632 ай бұрын
@@timeformegaman based on what? Its an observation. Doesn't mean I am insane. I don't disrespect the guy. The video was definitely helpful and props to him for the useful tips. But....man, I can't get over him saying every now and then "getting or not". For you might be ok but not for everyone. We are all different. Good day.
@timeformegaman2 ай бұрын
@@danielbogos263 I have listened to an hour of this so far, and I am not even sure what you are complaining about. He is not a native speaker. And YOU came across as "rather annoying, a bit rude and arrogant". You disrespect him directly. Don't weasle our of your words. See yhat absolutely no one else in the comments has any issue at all woth what you are talking about, I think it would be worth some self investigation on your part about what you are hearing, and why you are so upset. It could be a growing moment for you. Or you could make hours of data analysis content your own way.
@danielbogos2632 ай бұрын
@@timeformegaman yeah man. You might be right. Reading now, I agree, it sounds a bit exaggerated. I didn't mean to be that rough. I will edit the comment and make my point a bit clearer and less rude. However, how on earth did you not notice how often he says that. I am damn surprised.😂😂

@@danielbogos263 I dunno. My love of Tableau put the blinders on me. Have a good night.
