TABLEAU: Live vs Data Extract

Well if I work on live and data is of 5gb and on completion of work. What will be the file size ? Will it be greater in size or lesser in size .please

At 6:12, when you add a filter to the extract, you clicked Edit (which implies you are modifying an existing filter, which I don't see) instead of clicking Add. Why is that?

Thanks for the video. Extract you did was local to your machine, is it possible to share an extract by uploading it to local tableau server? I see that there is an option to publish datasource and worksheet but there is no option to publish local extract so it can be used by others in team. Sharing local extract by emailing or other mechanism is not be ideal.
