No languages, just download Tableau Public and you can begin. For me, I'm 3-4 weeks in and I'd say I'm at least at beginner/intermediate level. Another solid month of practice and I'll be firmly at intermediate. Just watch KZbin videos and check out Kaggle for free data sets.

On the Right Hand Side of the box where you type in the formula, half way down there is a small pointer. Click on that and the list will show.
