Thanks! What if I wanted to show a range of time? For example 12:30PM to 1:00PM.

Essentially you would create two strings - one for the starting time and one for the ending time. Then create a calculated field with a formula similar to [starting time] & "to" & [ending time]. You may have to use"+" rather than "&", but you get the idea. Thanks for watching.

Hi, Every thing seems to work fine except "10"/"11"/"12":PM. For eg, If the original clock In/Out is 10 PM, than the New Clock In/Out will show 10 AM which is wrong. Do you think we can adjust something in the formula to accommodate this? Thank You

Hi Weston, when I use tableau, maketime isn't appearing as a function
@TableauWeston2 жыл бұрын
What version of Tableau do you have? That's weird MAKETIME isn't showing up. Have you looked at the formula help section? (Grey section to the right of the calculated field edit screen.)

WHAT IF I HAVE HR:MIN:SEC

I think you can use the same approach. You may need FINDNTH to find the second colon, but you can still use the MAKETIME function to add seconds.
