They have done it before, on the TTD channels you can find at least 2 videos with Adam and Dan. One was a full competitive match and the other was testing colour rubbers (which still included competitive Dan vs Adam match). They've also referenced him a few times in other videos and reviews (like when a snake shot is performed) and Adam has commented on some of their videos. I think you should check the videos out and it'd be fun to see more of it for sure

anyone with decent table tennis skills that has ever played with a mini bat could call this well in advance. The difference to a regular bat is minuscule compared to the other atrocities XD it's like entering a guitar contest with a ukulele while the others have to play on laced shoes or a clothes drier.
