Hello Bisbo, I'm a fan of your channel and also a member of Tabhleeghi Jamaat (TJ). I am a student of Chartered Accountancy and also Company Secretary. The sources of your information for making this video are inaccurate, biased, defamatory and frankly insulting. Every group or movement that you don't understand doesn't become a cult. The TJ is not extreme at all. We are the most accepting of people and keep ourselves away from controversies to the point that we don't even talk back when someone harasses us. Our main focus is to help people who have gone into the wrong direction in life. Most poor people, specially Muslims, have been relegated to live in bad living conditions in ghettos and slums. Because of poverty and illiteracy they take up injurious personal habits and lifestyles. We go to them and help them change. I myself am a witness to how we have helped men leave a life of petty crime and turn honest. We have saved women from domestic violence and children from exploitation. We have taught people to be happy with what you have and not become monsters to satisfy their greed. How is this wrong? How does this make us a cult? A man was a thief in our locality and also a drug addict. We reformed him, bought him an e-rickshaw and now he earns honestly, daily. A woman was wrongly accused of doing black magic and she was not getting married. We helped her get settled. Poor boys and girls who have no money get help from us to study further and compete in Joint Entrance. Destitute old folks who have no one get refuge with us and we provide for their fooding, lodging and medical expenses. How does this make us a cult? If anything, we are hated on because we don't beg to the higher-ups for aid. Aaaaaaand we do use all amenities of the modern world. We have doctors, lawyers, engineers, et al in our ranks. The way we dress or sit or eat or consume is not because we are strict. It is just that we try to break out of the vicious cycle of materialism and consumerism that the capitalist world is pushing upon us. We try to be satisfied with our incomes and control our desires to buy the latest mobile or the fastest car or the biggest house, et cetra because what we have is already working fine. This is exactly why we are hated upon as our lifestyle doesn't make much money for the corporate giants who churn out a new expensive product every 6 months. And no, we do not reject the use of a toothpaste lol We use it each and every day. Extremely wierd of you to even accept this info and put it in your video without ever having talked to a Tabhleeghi. Anyways, if possible, kindly make amends.

The reports were fake and a part of the propaganda by the news channels to mask the inability of the government in fighting the pandemic. The audio of Maulana Saad inviting people to the Markaz to "die here" we also doctored. The investigating agency has submitted the same report regarding at least two audio clips. Kindly Google it, as it was published online and in the corner of printed papers but quickly disappear and certainly didn't make it to the regular TV channels. @@sameerthevip Some of them were openly photographed in the Southern portions of our country mimicking the ISIS handsigns. Furthermore, members of Tabligihi Jamaat were openly proved to have violated lockdown orders and traveled to remote corners of our nation - which is literally impossible since all forms of transportation were banned so they had to have specific intention to be able to violate that. Finally, the people who died from the Corona virus cluster there were recorded. You cant deny those dead people exist. Furthermore, I have friends who are doctors (female schoolmates who got into medical training with scholarships targeted towards getting women into STEM), they had some people behave extremely rashly and there was even a fear among the healthcare professionals that Corona possibly had a mental component like Schizophrenia or that these people were high on some drugs or narcotics. Police reports were filed and help was requested when things became unmanageable. These are tough people who deal with distraught patients regularly, they dont scare easily or call for police support unless absolutely necessary either. Please dont try to wash it all out as propaganda when literally people have called the police, photographs and videos were released and proof that these members died of the Corona virus strain AFTER traveling towards remote corners of the country despite the lockdown was proven. Thats wrong. On a normal day, we can have our to and go but when the world is burning, we cant. This was malicious intent. Similar to why the Gates Foundation was kicked out (illegal human testing of new vaccines and medicines on children and people from the poorer and more vulnerable sections of society), this group too must be investigated and removed if necessary or atleast action taken to prevent future violations and harm to society.

We do sleep on beds and eat on dining tables. Also, there is no problem in sitting on chairs. All of this is done when we stay in mosques while traveling. I am from a very orthodox thablighi family and have many hindu friends and take pleasure in their happiness. Also my parents and grandparents do not mind if I wear jeans or anything western for that matter. In Islam, having stability, good education and lifestyle is not just permisseble but also encouraged. The fact that people are calling us terroistst hurts me. To be honest I am the most patriotic in my group of friends. As a muslim it is our duty to be loyal to our country. I hope this gives everyone a larger perspective that the Tablighi Jamaat is about helping muslims get back on their religion. The most important things taught to youngsters is respect for parents, country, relatives, neighbours etc. Ibaadat se jannat milti hai aur khidmat se khuda. Its was my first day in jamat and we had to travel to a masjid that is only two kilometers away so are head asked for options like bus aur walk and we all decided to walk .. 2kms and while we walking and crossing roads we were told to remove any obstacles on the path that might effect any living being .. like nails or sharp stones aur thornes on way .. as a charity to the world and deciding to walk was not an action against modernisation it was just to make our younger generation understand that unnecessary expenses are not good.

Tabligh Jamath emphasizes the practice of Sunnah and encourages Muslims to adopt the character traits that are easily understandable by the general public. Contrary to popular belief, Tablighi Jamath members do utilize modern equipment and promote modern education, but they prefer to preserve the original form of Islam when it comes to matters directly related to the religion itself, considering that Islam was perfected 1400 years ago. It is essential to dispel the misconception that Tablighi Jamath neglects their family responsibilities. They do not neglect their duties towards their families, despite arguments suggesting otherwise. Moreover, they do not advocate for common people to engage in missionary work for extended periods. In fact, they limit such activities to a maximum of four months. It is hypocritical to single out Tablighi Jamath while others abandon their families for years to seek worldly gains by working abroad.

However some facts that are mentioned in this video are not true like:- 1- Tabligi are away from modern lifestyle 2- Tablighi people don't use toothpaste. Infact they use it everyday. 3- Sticking violence to Tablighi people. They don't even think of harming someone. 4- They have brought corona virus to India. you should remember there were several gatherings in India at the same time that were more than them in number and the first person who was tested positive in India was from Kerala and he wasn't Muslim or Tablighi. Any way this video is better than several other videos on main stream media.

Being a Muslim, I NEVER knew tableeg was a cult. You knw what i mean! I'm someone who doesn't call herself sunni or shia and don't mind anyone being either. But i have always seen tableegh as a way of changing people for better. It's a kind of journey in search of Islamic knowledge along with a program to apply good changes to one's life. Like eg, people who have never prayed or are smokers etc who want to change for better go on a journey with a group of fellow muslims for days ranging from 3 days to 3 months. While there they stay in masjids, interact with locals, learn to pray, learn a bit of Qur'an and some hadiths, good habits like getting up early, good manners, praying on time, eating food without complaining about its taste and reflect black on their lives as to what they had been doing right or wrong . They can't eat out of charity, so no funding. And going on such journey doesn't make one a tableegi exclusively. I mean a number of people go just once to change for better. And they have regular jobs. Like eg my father has gone 2 times. And FYI. 1) He brushes using a TB and paste. Even keeps mouthwash in his bag. Suprise. 2) Is a govt employee and at a good position. A magistrate. 3) Sleeps on bed. Sits on chair. Drives a car. 4) Wears Western clothes of middle aged men. 5) His beard that he grew recently after turning 50, is well kept. 6) Has all of his children doctors,including daughters. Almost all of the 'Tableegi' are like this. I find the beginning of this video so inaccurate and it makes me think that Bisbo is just a bunch of ignorant fellows who want to gain views without doing justice to some topic by proper researching.

Nice video and effort. Very informative. In one place you mentioned “Mormons”. But it’s “Amish”. Amish people still practice to remain the same as old days. Now Tablighi, their main objective is to practice and correct the errors when they practice. Also they discuss different aspects of religion, especially protect it from politics. They preach? Not that much. Why? Because of modern communication this process has turned redundant. Finally a lot of people do not know that it’s not a fixed group. Most people do not repeat tabligh. Mostly it’s one time experience. Your university teachers, bankers, engineers, prominent business persons attend this in search for non materialistic life. One last word. it was initially an honest concept but in recent days, there are more illiterate, uneducated people are joining Tabligh. So it’s time either filter or cancel the whole concept.

The content of the video complied in such a manner it appears to be true for Muslim even. But if one pays attention (which is lacking among netizens), it is easy to identify the content of the video is contradicting itself. Video claims Tablighi Jamat member spends his own expenses, so the Jamat will not have financial burden, then it says there is investigation about foreign funds. Similarly it says they travel to preach Islam, they sleep and live in Mosques, and then it says they shun western lifestyles, and IKEA could go bankrupt so on so forth. Honestly speaking it is utter stupidity to take this video into consideration, but since many of us need to be educated with right information. Here I’m taking my step to fight this Hatemongering. 90% of the Tabligh Jamat members are ordinary citizens, since they spend most of the time in traveling, their financial situation is not strong. On the other hand they care about the life hereafter (Akhira). They’re not inclined towards worldly life, as a result they don’t have modern or lavish lifestyles. Which doesn’t mean they Hate (rejecting or refusing) western lifestyles. They don’t maintain a low profile with a kind of deliberate agenda, which sounds like malicious intentions behind. The members are mostly from middle and blow middle class families. They earn and then they spend some portion into religious cause, so they can’t have bank balances and accumulating wealth. IT WOULD BE APPROPRIATE TO SAY THEY CAN’T AFFORD MODERN LIFESTYLES. Instead if one says they’re Rejecting or Shunning modern lifestyle that gives different meaning and wrong impression. MOST IMPORTANT POINT IS MUSLIMS FROM WELL-TO-DO FAMILIES ARE NOT PART OF THIS PARTICULAR GROUP. 98.7% of Asians don’t use Fork and Spoon while dining. 68% of Indian homes doesn’t have dining table. 89% of Indians homes doesn’t have western style Toilet seats. Is this means Fundamentalism or Fanaticism? If you believe so, then you are nothing but a Hatemonger. The organizations were banned during Indira Gandhi, were religion-political entities. Prior to the ban Tabligh Jamat was given clean chit both by Intelligence and CBI. It is matter of commonsense to understand the simple logic, since they avoid politics, there is no harm or loss for any political party with such Jamats till date. Tablighi Jamat is in the good books of every political and religious organization, including RSS, VHP, Shiva Sena so on so. It is BJP PR unit took Nizamuddin incident to gain political mileage to defame MUSLIMS WHO ARE PROTESTING TO SAVE THE SECULARISM AND UNITY OF INDIA. Tabligh Jamat is not into politics or religious conversions. It is about educating Muslims (not Hindus or Christians) to practice Islam. Their target group is Muslims who doesn’t pray 5 times, who prays once in a week, twice in a year, who doesn’t pay Zakat on time so on so forth. There is no evidence that they’ve approached a non-Muslim for preaching Islam. There are no different versions of Islam, every Muslims has only one book that is Qura’an and that has only one version only one message. There are different groups promoting same message with different approaches. THERE ARE NO DIFFERENT VERSIONS IN ISLAM OR MUSLIMS. “DIFFERENT GROUPS OF MUSLIMS, WITH DIFFERENT BELIEVES,” strategy created by US to justify their wars on Iraq and Libya. Rendon Group, a public relations firm, which crafted this malicious strategy for Bush Administration to sell their wars in Persian Gulf. The presentation was so brainy, today even Muslims started to believe this false information.
