I have barely any positive memories of my mother or of my childhood. I have for many years remembered her drumming on pot covers, singing, "taboom boom" and could not find what she was singing and I have zero contact with her and will not ask her. I found your song, Rebekah, and finally have found one of very few happy memories of my childhood.

Psalm 31 6 Into Thy hand I commit my spirit; Thou hast redeemed me, O YAH, Thou Elohai of truth. Luke 2346 And Yeshua, crying out with a loud voice, said, “Father, into Your hands I entrust My spirit.” And having said this, He died.

The beginning sounded like Native American? Was it? What's the meaning of Ta boom boom? Very unique song!❤
@mbmcnemar9362 жыл бұрын
It is a prayer called adon olam, "master of the universe". It is Jewish. I don't know if it's only the tribe of Judah or if other tribes recite it as well

Taboom is not really a word. It is the sound a Middle Eastern drum, called a Dabouka (spelling?), makes.

@BahtRivkaWhitten3 жыл бұрын
Taboom is onomatopoeia, it’s the sound of an ancient rhythm on a middle eastern drum. Taboom boom,Taboom, kind of like how you might describe the sound of a traditional American drum by saying parapapapum.

I'm so glad you all got to come to Shomair Yisrael. What a blessed Shabbat we had. I had learned most of Joshua Aaron's version of The Blessing. Sometimes I turn that on in my car. I open the sunroof and the windows and sing and pray that as I drive through neighborhoods. I pray God richly blesses you, George and your family as you travel and share the Good News!! Many thanks for blessing us today!
