Tabor College Chapel 2024.4.15 - Wendell Loewen

Our speaker, Dr. Wendell Loewen, wears a lot of hats here at Tabor College. He is a professor in the Bible and Theology Department, directs FaithFront, a youth leadership program for high school students, and serves as the Special Assistant to the President. Wendell calls himself a ministry lifer - having been in and around youth ministry for more than three decades. His passion is to invite a new generation of Christian leaders to follow Jesus and live an eternal kind of life.
Wendell completed a Doctor of Ministry Degree from Fuller Theological Seminary. He is a graduate of Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary and Fresno Pacific University.
Wendell and his wife, Shelly, live here in Hillsboro. They have three married children and five grandchildren whom they love to spoil!
